Mark Lee (Tacoma Stars Reserves)The Tacoma Stars Reserves claimed the top spot in the WISL with an 11-9 win over Bellingham United on Saturday night and “Mighty” Mark Lee led the way for the Stars with four goals and two assists in the win. The longtime Tacoma Star has 10 goals this season for the high-powered Reserves, who lead the WISL with 86 goals this season, while making two appearances for the Major Arena Soccer League’s Stars. Lee and the Reserves now get a week off before hosting the Portland Blacktails in the first round of the WISL playoffs.

Michael Nation (Oly-Pen Force)The first repeat Player Of The Week this season, Michael Nation came up huge in a spoiler game for the Oly-Pen Force. Their 12-8 win over Snohomish County combined with a Portland win knocked the Steelheads out of the playoffs and Nation’s contribution on the defensive end with two goal line clearances including a spectacular diving header to save a certain goal were key for the Force in their final game of the season.
