Tacoma Stars Reserves 11, Bellingham United 9
Mark Lee’s four goal, two assist game helped the Tacoma Stars Reserves clinch the #1 seed in the WISL playoffs by knocking off Bellingham United, 11-9, at the Bellingham Sportsplex. Nate Ford added a hat trick for the Stars in the win including what proved to be the game winner and an insurance goal in the 4th quarter.
Spencer Wolfe scored a hat trick for Bellingha and Kevin Flavin and Christian Caro scored twice in the loss. Richard Henderson scored his 16th goal of the season and is tied for the league lead in goals.
The Stars Reserves finish the regular season at 9-1-0 and Bellingham fell to 6-2-1 this season.

Oly-Pen Force 12, Snohomish County 8
The Oly-Pen Force played spoilers on Saturday night with a 12-8 win over Snohomish County. Alex Hernandez registered a hat trick, taking him to 16 goals this season, tied with Richard Henderson for first in the league. Matt Olson, Jaisen Zurfluh, Rainier Schlekewey each scored twice in the win. The Force wrapped up their 2021-2022 season at 2-8-0.
Andrew Escalante scored three times for the Steelheads and Tye Hastings got on the board twice, but the loss combined with a Portland win meant that Snohomish’s season came to an end. They finish the season at 3-7-0 and in fifth place.

Portland Blacktails 11, Oly Town Artesians 4
Needing a win to keep pace or take over fourth place, the Portland Blacktails jumped all over the Oly Town Artesians for 11 goals including four for Alcides Thomas and a hat trick by Miguel Gomez in an 11-4 win. Chris Kalla chipped in with a pair of goals and the Blacktails moved ahead of Snohomish County to clinch a spot in the playoffs. They are now 3-5-1 in their first season in the WISL.
The Artesians had already clinched the #3 seed in the playoffs heading into the game. Collin Tate scored his 11th goal of the season and the Artesians finished the regular season at .500 at 5-5-0.
