Alex Vogt (Oly Town Artesians) – Playing against his former team that had not lost a regular season game since 2017, Alex Vogt scored three goals en route to an 8-7 upset for the Oly Town Artesians. Vogt’s biggest goal of the game came late in the contest with Tacoma on a power play down by just one, 7-6. The short-handed game clincher made it 8-6 and helped the Artesians move to 4-3-0 this season. Vogt has scored eight goals in his first season with Oly Town.
Other nominees: Richard Henderson (Bellingham)
Matt Stalnik (Oly Town Artesians) – Making his return to the Oly Town Artesians and his return to playing goalkeeper this season, WISL veteran Matt Stalnik played one of the best games of his life keeping the Artesians ahead despite a Stars Reserves onslaught to lead them to an 8-7 upset of the league leaders. Stalnik, who opened his WISL career with the Artesians as a field player before a nasty knee injury, and eventually moved on to play with Tacoma Narrows, went back to his roots and stepped in for JJ Olson to keep Oly Town undefeated at The Pavilion this season.
