TACOMA, Wash. – The Western Indoor Soccer League is excited to announce the 2022-2023 season will kick off on Saturday, November 5th with games in Everett, Portland and Olympia. It is the first of a 14 week regular season featuring seven teams all in pursuit of making an appearance in the WISL Championship game scheduled for Saturday, March 11th.
The 8th WISL season will feature seven teams, the most since the 2015-2016 season. Everett City FC will make their debut in the league joining the Portland Blacktails, Snohomish County, the Oly-Pen Force and three original members of the league, Bellingham United, the Oly Town Artesians and the Tacoma Stars Reserves.
The Tacoma Stars Reserves are looking to repeat as WISL champions after claiming their third WISL title in February while Bellingham will look to claim their fifth championship. The Oly Town Artesians and Portland Blacktails hope to return to the playoffs after an exciting race that came down to the last week.
