Jesse Garcia (Portland Blacktails) – Making his Western Indoor Soccer League debut for the Portland, Jesse Garcia scored five goals and chipped in two assists in the Blacktails’ 8-4 win over Snohomish County. Garcia, a Portland native and Oregon State alum, was involved in seven of Portland’s eight goals helping them win their first game as a member of the WISL and rocketing them up the table to third place behind Tacoma and Bellingham.

Mike Arguello (Tacoma Stars Reserves) – Goalkeeper Mike Arguello made a few key saves early in the game keeping the Oly-Pen Force off the board and then settled in and only allowed one goal in the third quarter in Tacoma’s 11-1 road win. The PLU alum and longtime Stars Reserves and Major Arena Soccer League Tacoma Stars keeper made nine saves and had three assists in the win that helped the Stars Reserves improve to 4-0-0 this season with a +20 goal differential.
