Josh Dube – Oly Town Artesians – The Oly Town Artesians pulled off one of the biggest upsets in league history on Saturday night holding the league’s highest scoring team to just four goals in their 7-4 victory. It was an all-around team effort, but Oly defender Josh Dube was singled out for his effort in the win. The Buffalo, Wyoming native that teaches middle school in Tumwater played an intense game, taking on Bellingham players all over the field, making numerous blocks in the victory. Dube has played in all nine games for the Artesians this season and this is his first Player Of The Week award.
Kevin Flavin – Snohomish Skyhawks – The Snohomish Skyhawks finally got a road win and clinched a playoff spot with their 5-4 victory at Tacoma Narrows. Kevin Flavin scored three times including the game tying and game winning goals in the fourth quarter. Flavin, an Evergreen State alum who moved to the Skyhawks for this season after spending most of his career with the Oly-Pen Force, has scored 11 goals this season, the most of his time in the WISL. This is his second WISL POTW: he earned his first award in 2018 after scoring a hat trick to beat the Skyhawks.
