Alex Hernandez – Oly-Pen Force – Needing a win to open the second half, the flu-stricken Alex Hernandez put the Oly-Pen Force on his back and scored five goals to lead his team to a 9-8 win over the Oly Town Artesians. With the five goals, Hernandez, the 2017-2018 WISL Golden Boot winner, took over second place in the goals scored race with 12 this season and topped his previous season total of 11 goals. Hernandez has seen it all this season with the Force’s early season struggles, but with the win, his Force squad is just one point out of third place.

Noe Betancourt Cruz – Bellingham United – Betancourt Cruz anchored the Bellingham United defense in their 7-2 win over Tacoma Narrows on Saturday night, thwarting any Narrows counter attack and keeping them scoreless in open play. The Bellingham High School alum also built attacks from the back and got forward to score two goals. The dominating defensive effort, coupled with the Tacoma Stars Reserves draw against the Snohomish Skyhawks, got the Hammers to within a point of first place with a huge game against Tacoma coming up next weekend.

Offensive: Diego Aceves (Stars Reserves), John Troka (Snohomish), Uriel Herrera (Bellingham)
Defensive: Tony Clarke (Snohomish), Danny Minniti (Stars Reserves)
