TACOMA, Wash. – The Western Indoor Soccer League’s sixth season will kick off on Saturday, November 16th with three games in two cities. The the Oly-Pen Force host the Oly Town Artesians in Bremerton while the Tacoma Soccer Center hosts a doubleheader featuring Tacoma Narrows facing Bellingham United and the defending champion Tacoma Stars Reserves kicking off against the Snohomish Skyhawks. It is the first weekend of 33 exciting indoor soccer games running from November to February culminating with the league championship game scheduled for February 22rd (Click here for the full schedule).

The first rematch of the intense 2018-2019 WISL championship game will be played on Saturday, December 7th when Bellingham United travels to Tacoma to face the Stars Reserves at the Tacoma Soccer Center. The Stars Reserves make the return trip to the Bellingham Sportsplex on Saturday, January 25th. The Tacoma Stars/Tacoma Stars Reserves and Bellingham United have combined to win all five WISL championships with the Tacoma Stars capturing the first title before a three year run for the Hammers before the Reserves won the 2018-2019 title.

Tacoma Narrows finished third in the league and qualified for the playoffs in their first season but will have the toughest first two weeks of any team to open their second season. They will take on Bellingham in the opener and then they will host the Grit City Derby in week two when they take on the Stars Reserves on Saturday, November 23rd. The second leg of the Derby is set for Saturday, January 18th.

The Snohomish Skyhawks finished fourth with a playoff appearance and will make their home debut in week two when they host the Oly Town Artesians at the Snohomish Soccer Dome on November 23rd. If they can get off to a hot start and pull off a couple road victories, they will be sitting pretty with four of their last five games on their home field including their season finale against Bellingham on February 8th.

The Oly-Pen Force missed out on the playoffs by just one point in 2018-2019 but will look to rebound and start things off right when they open the season against the Artesians, who finished in last place last season. They then head to Bellingham in week two before hosting the Skyhawks in week three.

There is nowhere to go but up for the Oly Town Artesians after finishing with just one point last season.
