Tacoma Stars Reserves 8, Snohomish Skyhawks 1
A 2-0 defensive battle at the half opened up for the Tacoma Stars Reserves (2-0-0) and they registered an 8-1 win over the Snohomish Skyhawks (1-2-0) at the Tacoma Soccer Center. Tyler John scored twice to lead the way for the Stars.
Eddie Na got the Stars Reserves going with a first quarter goal before John scored what would prove to be the game winner in the second quarter. Logan Jones, Danny Minniti and Jeff Bader made it 5-0 before Snohomish finally got on the board with a goal by Devin Shull. The Stars added three more goals in the fourth quarter to secure their second win of the season.
Trevor Davoren faced constant pressure for the Skyhawks and made 19 saves while Shull made six blocks on Stars shots. Mike Arguello allowed just one goal for Tacoma and registered an assist late in the game.

Bellingham United 14, Oly Town Artesians 7
Bellingham United’s (3-0-0) Richard Henderson scored five goals and Christian Caro and Kenny Parker added two goals apiece to knock off the Oly Town Artesians (0-3-0), 14-7, and to stay undefeated in WISL play and extend their winning streak at the Bellingham Sportsplex to 23 games.
Noe Betancourt Cruz put Bellingham up 1-0 before Collin Tate tied it up for Oly, 1-1, with 8:44 left in the first quarter. After that, it was all Bellingham. United went on a 7-1 run to close out the first half, including three straight goals for Henderson, to take an 8-2 advantage into the break. They then scored three more in the third and three more in the fourth to add to their league leading 34 goals this season.
The Hammers put 29 shots on goal compared to just nine shots on goal for the Artesians. Bradley Hanson made 12 saves over three quarters for the Artesians while Bellingham keepers – Riley Liddle and Felix Cruz – made just two saves total in the game.

Tacoma Narrows FC 9, Oly-Pen Force 7
Jeremy Maldonado scored twice and added two assists to lead Tacoma Narrows FC (2-0-0) to a 9-7 win over the Oly-Pen Force (0-3-0) at the Tacoma Soccer Center. David Meherg scored twice for the Force in the loss.
The two teams played an even first quarter, 3-3, and the Force took a 4-3 lead on a goal by Meherg early in the second quarter. But Maldonado tied the game, 4-4, and then Narrows scored two more goals to take a 6-4 lead at the half. The Force cut the lead to just one twice in the second half, but Narrows always had an answer and they took a commanding 9-6 lead into the fourth. Oly-Pen got one back with an extra attacker late in the game, but Narrows held on for the 9-7 victory.
Narrows remained undefeated over their first two WISL games while the Oly-Pen Force dropped their third straight game, their first three game losing streak in club history.
