Bellingham United run ends in semifinals at national indoor tournament

17389066_1576690432361088_8365050543274144598_oGLENDALE, AZ—The Hammers of Bellingham United have won two straight Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) Championships and have been in all three of the leagues Finals. Over the weekend the Hammers traveled to Glendale Arizona to compete in the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) Championships.

BUFC won their group on Saturday to advance them to the quarterfinals on Sunday night. In the quarters the Hammers edged the host side Arizona Impact 4-3 to step forward to the semis. The mini-games came fast and furious for the competitors. Each mistake was magnified, each goal bigger with the short clock. Eventual Champions Digitlog FC (Phoenix) knocked Bellingham out in the semifinals with a 4-3 win.
