SNOHOMISH, WA—The Olympic Force tightened their grip on second place in the Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) with a 12-9 victory over the Snohomish Skyhawks on Saturday night January 28 at the Snohomish SoccerDome.
Kyle Johnson scored a hat trick for the Force, who also got braces from three other players. Olympic led 7-4 at the half and pulled further ahead until a flurry of late goals by the Skyhawks. Snohomish got two goals from Adrian Espinoza during their fourth quarter surge.
The Skyhawks are still in the race for the fourth and final WISL playoff spot. Snohomish travels to Oly Town for a pivotal clash next Saturday.
