BELLINGHAM— Bellingham United improved to 2-0-0 on the young WISL season as they outlasted the Tacoma Stars Reserves 5-3 before 350 fans on Saturday night November 19 at the Bellingham Sportsplex. Tacoma dropped to 1-1-0.
The match featured 8 different goal scorers as the balanced clubs spread the scoring around. Bellingham’s goals came from Brady Ulen, Conner Moe, Brendan Quilici, Chris Jepson and Eduardo Perez. Quilici (player-head coach) also chipped in 2 assists.
Tacoma got points from Elliot Fauske, Jeff Bader and Joe Jarzynka (player-head coach.) Sean Morris provided 2 assists.
The Hammers led 4-1 at the half. Tacoma went with a 6th attacker but could get no closer than the final score in the 4th quarter.
