EVERETT, WA —Sporting Everett FC is picking up the mantle for the former Seattle Sporting FC, and this includes joining the Western Indoor Soccer League this winter and picking a new crest.
Seattle Sporting FC was a club that played for one season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) outdoors and last season indoors in the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL.) The club more-or-less ‘folded’ from outdoor play after one season but is progressing with a new name and look. Last indoor season they played at the Everett Soccer Arena under the “Seattle” name. This year the club is all “Everett,” returning in the WISL to the same home venue.
