The Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) season will kick off in November with at least seven clubs. Several of them have announced their open tryout information. See below.


The Oly Town Artesians semi-professional indoor soccer club kicks off their 2015-2016 preseason with open tryouts on Saturday, October 3rd at 10:00 AM and Sunday, October 4th at 4:00 PM. Tryouts cost $20 and can be paid with cash, check or credit card when players arrive at The Pavilion on the campus of The Evergreen State College. Players should wear turf shoes. Please no cleats.

Directions to The Pavilion at The Evergreen State College: From all directions of I-5, take US 101 North to the Mud Bay N./The Evergreen State College exit. Keep left and follow the signs to The Evergreen State College. At the roundabout, continue straight on Evergreen Parkway and take the next left onto Overhulse Road. Turn left onto Driftwood Road NW and go straight at the first stop sign. Turn left into Lot F for parking. Walk from Lot F to the closest intersection of Driftwood and Overhulse and turn right down the path to the college. The Pavilion is about 100 yards down on the left.

About the Oly Town Artesians and the Western Indoor Soccer League: The Artesians debuted in 2014 and after a successful inaugural season are back in the Western Indoor Soccer League with a new home field at The Evergreen State College. The WISL will feature at least seven regional teams in its second season: Bellingham United, Olympic Force (Bremerton), Oly Town Artesians (Olympia), Snohomish Skyhawks, Tacoma Stars Reserves, Vancouver (WA) Victory and Wenatchee Fire. -40010SEASONSLOGOSnohomish Skyhawks will be playing in the Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) this year. The WISL is a club-and-player-first league for indoor soccer players, owners and arena operators in the Northwest. Seasons kick off in November and go through February. This is semi-professional level made up mostly current and ex-collegiate and some ex-professional players in our region. Here is more info on the WISL:

Snohomish Skyhawks will host 3 OPEN FIELD sessions for anyone interested in trying out for the team for next three Sunday mornings. Please bring indoor shoes, shin guards, water and black and white shirt for all sessions. Anyone under the age 18 needs parental permission and their waiver forms filled by their legal guardian. We strongly recommend anyone with a strong soccer background (outdoor and indoor) to come out.

Location: Snohomish Soccer Dome (511 Maple Ave, Snohomish, WA 98290)

All sessions are free to public but players need to contact head coach Tao Shen at with their contact info (proper email and phone), soccer background, their commitment level for training at night (2x/week usu. Tu/Th or maybe We/Th around 9 to 11PM) and night games on Saturday and some Sunday games.
